Our organization, in partnership with an affordable housing developer (non-profit) is building 85 affordable rental units within an economically integrated development in Minneapolis, MN. We will lease 20 of the 85 units for long-term homeless who are mentally ill/chemically dependent. The other apartments will be occupied by singles and families who meet income eligibility requirements. The remainder of the development will include affordable town-homes, Habitat for Humanity town-homes and nearly 150 market rate condos. We worked closely with the neighborhood in the concept and design which is redeveloping a former industrial site.
We will provide services and support to our 20 residents, including case management, job assistance, life skills education, etc.
As a chronically homeless individual, I believe your organization is doing exactly what we need.My son and I are in Missouri. Please let me know if you are interested in collaberating with other organizations or sharing your organization's ideas with potential Missouri non profit
developers.St.Louis is
in desperate need of
